How To Cook

1. Heat a dollop of beef dripping or ghee in a large casserole dish over high heat until sizzling.
2. Add the oxtail to the dish and sear on all sides.
3. Add halved onions, a bulb of garlic, a handful of garden herbs, a couple of glasses of red wine, and a pouch of beef stock to the dish.
4. Cover with a lid and place the dish in a preheated oven at 140°C (285°F).
5. Cook for 8 hours, or longer if desired, until the oxtail is tender.

  • Free delivery on orders over £40 (£5 charge for orders under £40)
  • Deliveries take place between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM

About Our Beef

We source our grass fed beef from small local farms, including our own, then traditionally butcher and dry age in our bespoke ageing facilities in house. All of our beef is raised to the highest standards on a grass fed diet & comes from traditional native breeds cattle such as Hereford & Angus.
