Pigs In Blankets

Chipolata Sausage - Pork (80%), Water, Rusk (Wheat Flour, Salt, Yeast), Salt, Dextrose, Herbs(Sage, Thyme), Sunflower Oil, Stabiliser (E451(i)), Spice( Pepper), Preservative E221 (Sodium Sulphite), Flavourings, Antioxidant (E300), Natural Hog Casings.

Streaky Bacon - Pork, Salt, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite), Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate).

Note: Contains Wheat, Sodium Sulphite & Sodium Nitrate which is an allergens.

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or Gas Mark 6.
2. Arrange the pigs in blankets on a baking tray, making sure they are evenly spaced so they cook evenly.
3. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through to ensure the bacon crisps up on all sides.
4. Check for doneness by making sure the sausages are fully cooked and the bacon is golden and crispy.
5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Cooking Tip: For extra flavour, you can drizzle a little honey over the pigs in blankets during the last 5 minutes of cooking for a sweet, sticky glaze.
